Andy Heffner served as a New York City prosecutor for over twenty years and was Chief of the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office Official Corruption Unit. He then spent three years as an Assistant New York State Attorney General investigating matters pertaining to public integrity and corporate ethics.
After much reflection, in 2010 Andy concluded that his core interests were in people, their needs, their desires and their goals. While the hundreds of cases he handled as an attorney involved many aspects of the human condition, Andy decided to shift his focus from the institutional agenda of his role with the government, and instead to focus all of his energy and resources on helping individuals realize their personal and professional goals.
Andy is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and received his training and certification from the Coaches Training Institute. He has a B.A. in Psychology and a law degree, and has spent years studying human relationships, motivations and interactions among people from all walks of life. Andy brings to coaching both compassion and a unique perspective which empowers individuals and organizations to communicate, maximize their potential, and reach goals without compromising personal integrity.
Andy is married and has two children. He is an avid hiker and loves the outdoors.
